Feature overview

Features for everyday education

t-api brings recurring tasks for lecturers, participants and administrative staff into one focused portal interface.

The modules are grouped by audience. Which modules appear in a customer portal is configured for each organisation and verified server-side on every access.

Available modules and features in acceptance

The following modules describe the current product state: the portal workflows and calendar are available. The programme studio is marked “In acceptance”. Visibility and write permissions remain bound to the respective Tocco configuration.

For teaching staff

Record attendance and assessments while keeping appointments, assignment planning, feedback and honoraria in view.

Attendance management

Record attendance at each date

See booked events and assigned dates, edit participants row by row, and write the collected state back to Tocco.

Configurable for each education provider as an attendance status or attendance percentage.

Grade entry

Work through assessments clearly

Work on pending entries for grades, points, text choices, free text, resit examinations and dropped grades, apply corrections or exemptions, and complete them in a controlled flow.

Exam structures remain in Tocco; point previews are indicative and Tocco's result is authoritative.

Appointments for teaching staff

Keep personal teaching dates in view

View upcoming and past teaching appointments as an agenda with room, building, location and online link.

A personal calendar subscription appears when it has been shared with the person in Tocco.

Assignment planning

Keep personal planning in view

Review personal planned, open and confirmed assignments grouped by period and status.

Entirely read-only: scheduling and planning remain in Tocco.

Assignment feedback

Report delivery directly

Report an allowed completion status and optional comment for personal past assignments.

Person, status, time window and version are checked again before every save.

Honoraria

Understand personal honoraria

View personal released honorarium rows by period, salary type and status.

Entirely read-only: t-api calculates neither wages nor payments.

For participants

Securely view personal attendance, course appointments, released results and documents.

Attendance records for participants

Understand personal attendance

Review past dates, the attendance status recorded in Tocco and attendance achieved for each event.

Entirely read-only: attendance is recorded by teaching staff or in the Tocco back office.

Appointments for participants

Plan course dates clearly

View upcoming and past course appointments as a personal agenda with room, location and online link.

The view is entirely read-only and shows the calendar link only when personally shared in Tocco.

Performance and results

View released performance

View completed ongoing assessments separately from calculated results and promotions.

Visibility, date window and level of detail are enforced server-side from Tocco.

Personal documents

Retrieve certificates securely

Request and download configured certificates and confirmations based on personal visible results.

Tocco generates the PDF; t-api rechecks access and does not store its content permanently.

For administrative staff

Build programmes from blueprints in the programme studio currently in acceptance and coordinate annual planning, rooms and recurring sessions in the independently enabled calendar.

Programme studio

Build programmes safely as graphs

Plan new deliveries from one or more Tocco programmes as versioned graphs, validate them and materialise them in a controlled way.

Status: in acceptance. Shared deliveries are created exactly once; node-level rules govern billing items, grading structures, learning objectives, questions, answers and relatively rescheduled appointments. Registrations and lecturer bookings are never copied. The instance calendar belongs to the studio; the global calendar remains a separate module.

Calendar

Plan sessions directly in the calendar

Opening the module shows all Tocco sessions in the visible period directly in the calendar, initially the current working week. Staff switch between month, week, day and room views, filter by site, building, room and session attributes, and create one or several sessions or move an existing session without setting up a planning draft first.

The calendar is an independent module that can be enabled separately. Rooms are optional. Only booked lecturers and active equipment can be selected; with automatic distribution, Tocco manages lecturer assignments on its own. Series, drag and drop, and conflict checks change Reservations only. Tocco creates the calendar entries and remains the leading system.
